I just spent 90¢ on a Carborite cookie rather than having one of the cookies somebody brought in and left on the receptionist’s desk. It’s bigger and probably lower in calories than a Real Cookie. The issue of taste comparison, though…well, we just won’t go there. 2:13 pm § Permalink §

Some of that low carb stuff is just awful. The Atkins bread is, to me, inedible.

Oh, I agree completely. The cookie isn’t particularly low-carb, though - I don’t think 14g is low, is it? It is, however, lower in calories than a package of “Soft Batch” chocolate chip cookies. And because I’m on a diet, I’ve long since come to accept that some foods just don’t taste as good in diet versions; you get used to it after a while.
